Week1 (Semester 2)
This semester has begun, actually, we‘ve done quite a lot works during the holiday…
In the studio we re-started our project. The main tasks for this week and next week will be test plan and governance.
For the governance section, because we’ve completed almost 90% during the holiday, so not too hard, we can finish it tonight.
I am the main tester of this group, so my responsibility is writing test plan. The test plan guide which created by David is quite different than last year, several new stuff I have to put into our test plan, such as item Pass/Fail criteria, Suspension Criteria and Resumption Requirements. Some of them are useful
For example
The Suspension Criteria and Resumption Requirements are very necessary in the test procedure, because some critical factors changes may affect the rest sections of the test tasks.
But some ….keke, I don’t think those parts are necessary,
Anyway, that is standard, we have to follow.
I will have to let Grace to think about some sections of test plan and give me ideas to finalize test plan. All the work should be done before next Friday. The workload will depended on Grace. Haha, this lady is still in overseas so I guess may be have to give her some pressures to push her back to work.
The coding task will weight large portion of our project, I forecast Event Calendar will take lots of time. Other sections should be no problem, hope we can finish coding on week 6.
Oh, one thing I have to say..
Do your guys remember last semester I mentioned because I got lots of assignments to do so time management was out of control?
This time I fully prepare to work on our project, I have chosen 2 Chinese elective units. Therefore I ‘ll have enough time to do work. My dad was so surprise about I chosen 2 Chinese units in my IT degree especially in the same semester. I also have no idea why I made that decision... but one Chinese unit is very attractive, that unit requires each student to participate in at least two broadcasting services at Radio Monash. How cool is that?
