Week 1
That was the first week studio.
in our class, most students i known from last year, and i also seen some new faces. Our studio academic Peter, he is interesting man.He introduced the main topics we would do in this year. There are so many tasks we have to do in this semester, 4 assignment plus 20 mins interview.
I have already read the course guide after school. I found that there would be lots of presentation activities during studios. I really hate presentation; however that can be a good chance to improve presentation skill, and also that is also a good preparation for the future actual work. In this semester, we still deal with VisualBasic.Net; there are lots of new things we will study, such as ASP.Net, which may much harder than last year.
The big change in this year studio is we don’t need to handle reflective journal in paper base, instead we use reflective blog. Actually I already had my own blog which is Chinese version. I found maintaining blog that is very exciting thing. Unfortunately I thought that is not very good to use www.blogger.com to create my own blog, boring interface and simplex functions. I prefer to use MSN space.
The assignment form still is in group. The past experience tells me communication is one of the most important issues, and also good time management skill is essential aspect. Yeah, of course delivery on time that is basic requirement.
this year, this course may be more difficult than last year studio.
